It’s quite easy to travel around North Reno as there is an excellent public transportation system. To alleviate traffic congestion and reduce noise pollution, the tracks of the ReTRAC (Reno Transportation Access Corridor) were lowered below street level. This was one of the largest public works projects undertaken in the area, and was done as part of the revitalization of downtown Reno. Additionally, locals have taken it upon themselves to reclaim parts of downtown and have revamped the area, opening new clubs and fine dining and turning the area into a happening place.

For those who’d like to learn more about the cultural and historical offerings of Reno, museums such as the National Automobile Museum, Nevada Museum of Art, and the Wilbur D.
